Text from Dad to Mum:
"In Burguete, via St Jean Pied De Port and Roncesvalles. 54km, 1512 in total. Hard climb but glad to be in Spain.
I got a wringing. In a "Casa Rural". About to have a bath. Michael will know this area well.

Just had a call from Michael. Put on the loudspeaker so everyone could listen in as all were here.
He sounds very chirpy and was taking a walk round the town while Javi had a siesta. He got soaked again and had to wring out his socks. Will have to put on wet shoes tomorrow.
So, he's now in Spain.
