Spot the Difference
Please have a look at the 2 pictures belew and notice the difference in Style (both cycling and fashion) One is dressed for speed and aerodynamic efficiency, the other couldn't care less - in fact the dafter the better!

Loved "Spot the Difference"
Wait did dad hits the heat and he is wearing cycling shorts. It will be a lot more difficult then to tell the difference!!!!
Elena says that if Michael waxes lyrical when he sees a field of lavander, what would he be like with a tot of canabis! We will amke a suggestion.
Fantastic about meeting his heroe Indurain. Do you think they used sign language to communicate? Indurain probably speaks perfect English. Otherwise, how do the cyclists communicate on the Tour de France.
When he does his run from Alaska to Patagonia maybe he will run into Lance Armstrong!!!!!
Love Eileen and it won't be long now.XXXX
Hi Michael, Manus here, wee mick has just hooked me up to ure great adventure - an inspiration to us lazy people - sounds as if ure giving it everything - great stuff.
Just goes to show: u take risks you get rewards - meeting a hero like Indurain is stuff of legend.
Me & Soniya have been spent the last 8 days here in Alicante, 4 days we spent in Valencia - If passing call in to America's Cup harbour it's very impressive.
Although i know ure trying to avoid big cities.
We head home on friday 25th so gutted we'll miss u, if wee mick had told us sooner we'd have changed our dates - gatecrashed ure party!!
We're in our fancy hotel room with thunder rolling outside & fork lightning - wouldn't like to be on a bike!!!!
So much for sunny spain - and it rains mainly on the plain!!
Keep up the great work & look out for dodgy tourists in hire cars as u get closer to Denia.
I'll keep logging in from now on - best of luck and enjoy you're many party's after ure fab journey.
Mark & Soniya (Scotland, Ireland & Alicante!)
Hi Michael,
sounds like your forthcoming "easy day" is well deserved.
I noticed in the photo that this Mr Indurain isn't having to carry his own gear on his bike and fails to wear a stylish neon bib like yourself. If such things were compulsory in the Tour De France i'm sure you'd be in with a shout. Perhaps not in terms of winning it but definitely in the high-fashion stakes. Only a real man can pull that look off and not look like he should be deported!
Safe & happy cycling
Gerry
