Day #15: Soulac-Sur-Mer
My Mum text Dad this morning to see if he could adjust his speed so he arrives on Friday 1st of June as someone (shh - secret) is going out to join the welcome party. She let him know Michael's Big Band played last night in Larkhall to help raise money for Chimbote and a local Children's Charity. Mum said it was great. Here is Dad's reply:
"I will adjust my time. Tell Michael & Fiona well done for the concert. In Soulac-Sur-Mer, via Rochefort and Royan. I did 79km, 1122km in total."

Hi Mike
Good to see you are taking it a bit easier. It looks like the weather is going to improve after tomorrow, as you go south.
Today I was speaking to Monsieur Jean Poupon, Le Maire of Sigournais and he was pleased to know how much you and Javi had enjoyed your stay here He asked me to pass on his congratulations for your achievement so far and his hope that the weather improves quickly for you. He is looking forward to see the clips of Sigournais.
regards
Eddy
un achuchon para mi javi, I miss you ;)
Elena,YO TE ENDIENDO!!!!Hay que escribir en el idioma que sea. La question es escribir y animar.
I wonder where Michael is today. Maybe he's at Bordeaux. The Cup Final is in Hampden Park today and both teams are Spanish. The supporters are wearing blue kilts (hand-knitted) -El Espanyol and red kilts - Sevilla. Every news bulletin on the T.V. shows Glasgow overun by Spaniards - George Square, Buchanan Street etc. and raining ,as usual. Hope there are no incidents.
Wonder if you will see it on some FrenchT.V. in some God forsaken village tonight, Michael.
Casi,casi estas en la frontera. ¡Que hazaña¡
We'are the Champions, my friend!!!!!
Love Eileen XXXX
